Thankful!!! 

As I watch this preview, I can’t help thinking about how lucky I am to be a Mythbuster. The summer of 2018 was a summer that I will never forget, and a summer that I want to repeat again and again!!! To be part of the Mythbusters community is an amazing privilege, and I am very thankful to have been given the opportunity to live a dream!!  It has been quite exciting during the entire filming and post-production process, and every time I see an advertisement for the show, the excitement continues to build!!! Without a doubt, being a Mythbuster one of the most exciting things that anyone can do. In the past year, I have been to many cities and states, and have met countless people along the way. The best part of all of it is being with the kids. I enjoy meeting all of the wonderful kids who want to learn everything that Mythbusters and STEM have to offer. 

Dreams and Desires!!!

I feel that Mythbusters has allowed me to connect with people who have the same dreams and desires as I do. Therefore, being able to talk with kids and adults who want to learn, and have a desire to explore the world around us, is an exceptional experience for me. When I talk with the kids, I really enjoy seeing their eyes light up as they explain the cool projects that they are working on. As you might know, I am only 14 years old, but I have been building and researching for quite a few years now. However, I know how important it is for children to be taken seriously because we might be able to solve problems in a different way from adults because we tend to look at the problem in a different way. So, it is extremely important to encourage an interest in science at a very young age and encourage children to explore their environment and the world around them.

What better way to encourage an interest in science than to binge on 12 days of nonstop Mythbusters action? Well…..How about 12 days of nonstop Mythbusters action followed by the brand new series premiere of Mythbusters Jr? Now, that is going to make for one heck of a Holiday season!!! So, cozy up on the couch, and tune into Discovery Science Channel on Saturday, December 22 for the Mythbusters Mega Merrython followed by the premiere of Mythbusters Jr!!! We are going to have a BLAST!!!
